Dimension tables for ZAPF prefabricated garages – Südwerke

Overview and purpose of the Süd dimension table

The Südwerke dimension table provides a complete overview of all garage types currently available from the southern ZAPF plants (as of 10/2025). It serves as a binding planning basis for sales, consulting, building applications, and foundation planning.

It includes single garages, large garages, and extensions, each with all relevant external and passage dimensions.

What dimensions are included in the South dimension table?

The South dimension table is systematically structured and contains the following information for each garage model:

  • External width and external length of the garage
  • Total height (from bottom edge of floor to top edge of garage)
  • Passage width and passage height of the door
  • Usable area (m²)
  • Enclosed space (m³)
  • Associated factory (e.g., W, E, N, D)

Important: All width and length specifications always refer to the external dimensions of the garage.

Garage types and classification

The Süd dimension table covers a very wide range, including:

  • Standard single garages (e.g., 278, 294, 298, 328, 345, 358)
  • Extended garages (N, L, ML, SL variants)
  • Large and double garages (B types)
  • Extensions in various depths and heights

The model designation provides clear information on:

  • Garage width (e.g., 298 = approx. 2.98 m)
  • Length class (SK, K, N, L, ML, etc.)
  • Special heights (e.g., 224, 237, 262, 300)

Height specifications and special features

A key feature of Südwerke garages is the wide range of variable garage heights. Depending on the model, different heights are possible, which is particularly relevant for:

  • Tall vehicles
  • Planned lifting platforms
  • Additional roof or interior fittings

Enclosed space – important explanation

Since ZAPF garages have a slight floor slope (for water drainage), the front and rear heights differ slightly.

The specified enclosed space is therefore always calculated using the average height. This rule applies to all Südwerke garage types.

Clearance dimensions and doors

  • The clearance dimensions specified refer to sectional doors as standard
  • The clearance width and height may vary for other door types
  • The clearance height may be slightly reduced when using a door drive
  • For large garages, the entrance height including the door drive is specified
