Most garages in Central Europe have flat roofs, where a special coating combined with a drainage system ensures that the flat garage roof is (and remains) watertight. Optionally, a classic flat roof can also be covered with gravel, which buffers extreme temperatures and performs a rough pre-cleaning of rainwater before it is drained away.
