Weather protection

Every year, tens of thousands of cars are damaged by storms (especially by flying branches, roof tiles, etc.), hailstorms, or other extreme weather conditions – and insurance does not always cover the damage. The ADAC (German Automobile Association) writes, for example, “Another prerequisite for partial comprehensive insurance to cover the damage is often that the storm must have had a wind force of at least 8.” If you want to be on the safe side in this regard, it is best to always park your car in a solid garage that can be securely locked! In there, the storm usually cannot harm your car!
